Accidentally unplugged my computer while it was running, won't start

I was switching around some cords on my surge protector when I accidentally unplugged my computer's power chord while it was still on. Now, my computer won't start at all. It won't power on in any way. No fans, no light, etc. Have I damaged my computer and, if so, in what way and how can it be fixed.

Lol nevermind. It appears what really happened was the new outlet I plugged the power chord into was just a bum outlet. The computer is fine. Nearly gave myself a heart attack though.
