A reader over at GeekWire discovered that the service, called Google Drive had been enabled for his account, providing a Docs-like view of all your cloud files and a link to "Install Google Drive". I use Dropbox a lot, and I already think it's pretty much perfect. So Google better add some nice stuff if they want it to compete with Dropbox.

the fact that it's google and it's all together already makes it more attractive than dropbox imo but at the same time i'm afraid of giving google too much power

But google lets me do that with docs too so once they've made their equal as connected and as stable, well then I can't say it's good news for dropbox. (And the download speed a bit) I have 100 Mbps fiberoptic upload speed and still any large file takes 63 years to upload to Dropbox. Other then that it's pretty much perfect.

Other then that it's pretty much perfect.[/QUOTE] whenever i upload a file to dropbox i only get a max of 200 kbps up and for some reason when i upload a big file it ties up my entire network even if it's hard plugged in to my cable modem

also im just nitpicky im sorry google is a singular, in the same way the word "classroom" or "team" is singular even if they consist of many members and parts the classroom IS working on their work the team IS trying to win the game google IS making a dropbox style cloud file-sharing service.

I like google and I don't mind this.

I don't see a reason to switch away from dropbox, unless they invent something new
