Witnesses reported seeing a man running toward the government buildings, which have been placed on lockdown. A soldier has been wounded in the attack, Canadian media report. The incident comes amid the nation's raising of its terror threat level from low to medium, after a Muslim convert was killed by Quebec police after hitting two soldiers with his car.
Apparently he got into parliament and fired shots down one of the corridors
I don't understand ISIS sympathisers.
I find it harder to understand if they come from well adjusted and well off families. From the lower strata of society/vulnerable parts of the population, I mean, I can understand, like say educated but unemployed youth and those who feel that they got a raw deal out of life/those who feel like society tossed them aside like unwanted garbage - hell there's people who're going to sign up to fight for IS for the sake of good pay and nothing more.
My school just got put into secure-school situation, here we go!!
My school just got put into secure-school situation, here we go!!
What school are you at?
Guy appears to be aboriginal. Also luckily I don't have school til later today otherwise I would have been there
Sounds bad but I really hope the guy is native. We really don't need more stealing freedom ISIS scaremongering bullshit.

This can't be coincidence that a couple days ago some radical Muslim ran down two soldiers in Quebec and now this happens. I really hope these attacks aren't related
I don't understand ISIS sympathisers.
Brainwashing since young age with anti-west ideas by parents and relatives I assume.
There is a stupid alarm blaring in this building, I don't even know why. It's just a constant "biiing" "biiing" "biiing" from the intercom
Okay kids, fun time is over. Return to your routines.
More shots fired, it's not over yet kiddies!
Glad the shooter is dead, any word on any other injuries?
Did some searching, no word on stuff yet that I could see. The only confirmed casualty is that injured soldier they mentioned in the original dispatch.
This is terrible.
More shots fired, it's not over yet kiddies!
this is not good.
Glad the shooter is dead, I hope the soldier is alright. I sincerely hope that this puts soldiers on alert, because it's obvious that they're targeting soldiers. To the shooter I say: Rest in piss, scum.
More shots fired, it's not over yet kiddies!
Where are you getting sources on this?
The gunman fired on soldiers guarding Canada's main war memorial and then ran into the parliament.
What scum, anyways Canada is such a dumb target, I'm sure Harper would love any reason to send forces to the middle east.
BBC has said nothing about the condition of the shooter yet so I wouldn't jump to conclusions. The only infomation the BBC confirm is that one soldier has been injured.
