• MIDI Software?

I've got a music keyboard, Casio CTK-2000 to be precise, and I'm trying to get it setup with my computer to try to compose something or other as a MIDI controller. It connects through USB, is recognized, all that is good. I have no idea what software to use or what to really even search for. Anyone lend a hand?
cubase
Cubase or some other mainstream easy to use program. FL Studio is probably friendlier.
Fruity Loops, Ableton, Cubase, Reason. Those are the big 4 I believe, at least what most electronic producers use. (Although FruityLoops is sort of regarded as a noob program. Like a GIMP under the photoshops) I use Ableton myself. ps. there is also cakewalk but I don't know anyone who uses that. Edit: By the by, you'll need virtual instruments to produce a good sound. Well you don't actually need them but if you are starting it is generally a good idea to have some. Just search for VST on google.
