Are there any decent voice recognition software that actually works well?

Mainly for fun / interest I want to look into some voice recognition software, anyone know any good ones? (i.e better than windows 7's build in one).

Window's works fine. You probably need to get a better mic, speak normally - most people end up speaking like a robot when they talk to machines, and use it more frequently. It learns your voice as you go, I believe. Other voice recognition stuff costs a lot, from what I know.

Desktop mic's don't work well with it (i've tried.)

Headsets work great.
