How are they defining cyberbullying? It seems like taunts is being used as the bar.
you want to fight bitch? come at me
[sp] but to be serious, I really hope it's not people "over defining" "Bullying online"
it's serious of it's IRL bullying translating to internet bullying, but if its just 1 person online, IGNORE THEM
being a dick over the internet isn't = to bully. personally I can be a arrogant dick but I'm not a douche bully.[/sp]
I expected far better stock photography.
It's also a non issue unless the person goes to extreme extents and stalks everywhere. If it's a single venue, there's block abilities.

Cyberbulling is an extension of normal bullying.
Essentially the people who bully during school are able to further do so through facebook, myspace, etc.

nooo :(
im gona report u 2 the cops 4 cyber bullying
Do insults through online games count?
Yes, because kids are being bullied through text censor the internet for everybody, please. Makes complete and total sense and there is no logical fallacy to this.
I know cyberbullying can be pretty shitty for the kid; especially younger/more sensitive ones, but the internet is not a childrens toy that people can ban/change when it says "fuck u, u suk!" back at you.
It's inevitable someone will try to use this study to justify that. And yeah, try to address the real life problem of it rather than just doing what amounts to automated bleeps on a telephone. Kids that bully kids online are usually kids that bully kids in reality. Or, if anonymous people, just do it for the hell of it/to be dicks, which kids should learn/be taught to understand not to be personally offended by.

And then you unfriend them lol.
And then you unfriend them lol.
"i unfriended you you cant bully me anymore"
And then you unfriend them lol.
Yeah but some people don't know how to / don't want to change privacy settings (remember you can post without being friends if your profile hasn't been set up correctly)
And then you unfriend them lol.
That doesn't really solve it.
They can still spread rumors, find compromising stuff on you, or impersonate people.
Survey points to more school aged kids wasting more and more time on social media than ever before in history.
in my opinion, if it's someone you know harassing you online, it's cyber-bullying. otherwise you're just dealing with anonymous tough guys
[editline]wat[/editline]
I mean if you don't know a stalker or some weird dude but they're harassing you online obviously still harassment/cyber-bullying butyouknowhatimean

If they don't know how, they ought to learn.
If they don't want to, well that's just dumb of them then.

bullying isn't always direct. if i spread rumors on my facebook page that you were a dirty slut then i would still be bullying you even if you blocked me.
if 7/10 people are being bullied then wouldn't some of the people BEING bullied also be bullying themselves? if you are bullied and bully other people back then you should deal with it.
And then you unfriend them lol.
Oh boy, you're one of those guys aren't you?
Unfriending won't stop them spreading rumours about you to other people in your school, it won't stop them trying to fuck with you through other accounts or through the report functionality of websites. There's a lot more than "lol block them faggot".

most bullies were bullied at some point in their life as well.
Bullying is stupid dont get me wrong but honestly its necessary. If i wasn't bullied when i was a kid i would be a total pussy today. This is just another example of the pussification of the world.
