Need advice on troubleshooting "Verifying DMI pool data"

I've recently built a PC out of leftover parts and startup it stalls at "Verifying DMI pool data". So far, I've checked the connections for the power and SATA cables to the HDD and checked the BIOS to find that it recognizes the HDD. What's my next course of action?

clear BIOS. If that doesn't work you need to troubleshoot what component is causing the DMI to stall. This can be done by going CPU/1 RAM and gradually working up to completion.
