Like Obama, Macron declares a "red line" in Syria to not use chemical weapons

The Russians stepped up and said that they would oversee the destruction of Syria's chemical weapons. This is probably the only reason why Obama did not retaliate.

I know, my point is that he's drawing a red line that was crossed years ago. That doesn't make much sense to me.
