I've been really interested by these interviews of musicians and comedians and stuff talking about their most hated songs.

I'm less embarrassed about not liking Tears in Heaven now.
AVC: When I heard this was your pick, I thought it might be controversial. Like, “How dare you pick a song about a dead toddler?”
ST: Yeah, but it doesn’t really feel like he cares. It’s like, he might have when he wrote it. When he wrote the lyrics down, he was like, “That’s deep.” But then the performance is like, “I don’t give a fuck.”
Unlike him, I don't doubt Clapton's sincerity, but that production is just so cheesy I just can't stand the song (that stupid twangy bass sound). I think the fact that it's about a really sad incident makes me hate it even more because the world won't let me hate it because I'll automatically be a bad person, so I have to bottle it up and stuff. but now Sean Tillman gave me the courage to say I hate the song even though it's not actually that bad.
Anything by Bon Jovi.
Anything by Coldplay.
why does everyone hate phil collins :(
its okay AK'z sussudio still gives me a hardon
Almost anything by Oasis and Beastie Boys

this is the only song left that actually makes me angry when i hear it. Like honestly i can't describe how fucking furious this song makes me. Moreover, everyone else seems to fucking love it and everyone sings along like it's some sort of pissing grand spiritual experience instead of a fake-ass shitty song by a godforsakenly awful band. I'm even willing to say that if you actually enjoy it you're essentially a member of the worst cult on earth.

Beastie Boys rule.

Agree about Oasis though, fuck Oasis.
Anything by Bon Jovi.
I was thinking about this again, and I don't think it's irrational
Not really sure how famous these guys are but I really don't like Midnight oil and The Olsen brothers.
Almost anything by Oasis and Beastie Boys
Especially Wonderwall, and ESPECIALLY when it's played by DJs to show how indie and cultured they are.
Anything by Daft Punk. Especially Discovery. Worst album ever.
Random Access Memories was decent.

This one so much. I remember rushing out of my bed to smash my fucking alarm clock when I heard the first few notes of this. Alarm did its job that way though.
i'm going to hunt down everyone who disagreed with me and i'm going to skin you and turn you into an armchair then i'm going to sell you to an old folks home.
Pumped Up Kicks...

i like the song for it's novelty. is that bad
Bohemian Rhapsody really grinds my gears
Anything by Meatloaf and One by Metallica. I just don't get into them at all.
This thread will most likely just be a bunch of posts that are "Noooo I love that song it's not that bad."
Like me right now.
Coldplay isn't really bad at all IMO, Viva la Vida is pretty bad but I like how calming a lot of their music is.
Whoever said Beastie Boys isn't good, I politely disagree.
Daft Punk is house music, so it is mostly supposed to be played in clubs. It can be pretty repetitive at times.
Pumped up kicks isn't bad... a little overplayed when it first came out.
And how can you dislike Bohemian Rhapsody?
Most rap songs. Full of degrading and hateful lyrics. [del]People living in the past, crying about racism while they are racists themselves.[/del]
But seriously though, Armin Van Buuren - This Is What It Feels Like. I thought it was sort of good the first couple of times I heard it. But got tired of it when I heard it for the 1000th time on any Trance radio station one week after release.
Black Eyed Peas aren't actually that bad.
And I don't know why it's a certain kind of folk who hate Bruce Springsteen :(

everything about this post is hilarious
Summer of '69 and Glory Days
all I can think of when I hear these songs is some pathetic fifty-something washed-up idiot who's more interested in being drunk 24/7 and wanting to relive the "good ol' days" than actually taking a fucking shower once in a while in his dingy ass apartment.
some songs conjure up very specific thoughts in my head.
Also, I don't really HATE them, but I get really tired of hearing Highway to Hell and Back in Black when I turn on the radio, because they're two of AC/DC's most overplayed songs and the reason why everyone thinks all their songs sound the same. they sound the same because the only ones they play on the radio (and therefore the only ones most people have heard) are the ones that sound the same.
Don't Stop Believing by Journey.
Ever since my high school thought it was a good idea to make the theme of the year THIS SONG. Every single day I'd hear this song, in every assembly, in every school-related video. The whole drama club wrote a musical based on this song, the choir sung it multiple times, the orchestra played a classical version of this song, and every football/basketball/soccer/baseball/volleyball/tennis game we held had this song as the main theme. And my girlfriend was in the drama club and it was her favorite song.
I FUCKING HATE THIS SONG.
[editline]27th July 2013[/editline]
I also hate Rihanna. She sounds like she's taking a massive shit whenever she sings.
