So here's a problem my BF has been having. I'm posting because I can't really find answers for this on google, and was hoping one of you fine folks would have insight.
Basically, he was able to draw just fine about a couple weeks ago on 300+ dpi images, with 10"x15" digital canvases.
But now when drawing he frequently runs into issues where what he draws with his tablet will be lagged by several seconds. Sometimes the whole program just freezes up during normal brush strokes to the point where he can't really do anything in it. This happens with all image sizes and with different documents, so its not exclusive with just one file.
He's never had this issue until recently. The thing is, while photoshop is running better, its still showing similar issues. This makes me thing something with his computer is causing this to happen. But what could it be? He's never had this problem before.

My only suggestion would be to update the tablet driver.
If it is a trust tablet, like my shitty one I don't use any more, my one was raping the CPU because of WTClient.exe always running. Check the running processes in task manager.
If that fails, uninstall and reinstall?
