Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Updating my drivers didn't work. What do I do?
It's still gfx driver related.
Tried uninstalling the old driver, rebooting, and then installing the new one?
Did it work before and didn't work now, or has it never worked?
it's never worked...
Just bought it...
Will attempt Van-mans idea.
specs would help

Specs.
And the driver reinstall didn't work.
Same error comes up in the web based one.
Your graphics chip most likely doesn't support OpenGL, as it's shitty Intel integrated graphics.
No amount of driver fixes will make this work if it doesn't work on the hardware level!
You are out of luck.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE. And it doesn't work on my desktop. Will try my eMac later.

I don't think you will be any better off. :geno:
You can try, but it doesn't work on my Mac Mini so I don't know about that.
Does it have the same error on your desktop? You can probably fix that by getting a new graphics card.
Try restoring your GPU's settings to defaults in its CP.
Right, if only my GPU had a CP...
Well the game works now. On a different operating system.
Put Ubuntu onto the laptop I posted the specs for as a dual boot. Minecraft works.
WTF?
