Ok, so I have a hauppauge wintv hvr-1250, and I use it to watch tv in vista, but the problem in xp is that when I try to set up the tv signal, it says "Tuner not found", but I installed the driver from the Media Center Install area on the support page. I tried updating the drivers, but still nothing. I looked at the overview on hauppauge for the card, and they say its compatible with windows xp. Why won't it work?
Reinstal the driver and try another USB port.
i'll try reinstalling the drivers, but it doesnt use a usb port. anything else I should do?
Go to device manager, click on the card and uninstall the drivers. Reinstall the drivers, make sure you have the right ones.
