BRITISH sovereignty over the Falkland Islands is not accepted by the European Parliament, according to a visiting delegation of EU lawmakers who met with their Argentine peers.

Good thing the Falklands isn't in Europe right.
The people on the falklands want to be british, thus argentina will get their shit kicked in so hard if they try something.
We need you Nige. EU has been pushing their luck lately.

As I have said again and again, this is all that matters. Self determination is a very important thing, if the people there wish to remain British dependants then there's nothing anyone else in the world can say to stop this.

When you're trying to stop a major player in the EU from leaving, it doesn't help to tell them they don't own things they have rightful claim over. If anything it will make more people vote UKIP out of protest.
Fuck Argentina.
Why do even people care about goddamn Falklands.
I mean, besides UK.
UK has it's citizens on Falklands so it obviously should care.
But why would anybody else argue about who should have it?

By the way, I don't think EU wants Falklands to go to Argentina either but probably for it to be a sovereign nation or something.

Or they are more like "EU doesn't give shit it's your problem".
I don't actually think that the chair of a delegation has the power to say that. Added to the fact there's no-one from the UK on that delegation, and I reckon this just the EU sweet talking Argentina for trade reasons.
Hi guys several major problems with this article.
1. The 'head of the delegation' is a SPANISH MEP. The colonial power siding with a former colony!? Shocking!
2. This 'delegation' (With none of the others named, strangely!) is a single SPANISH MEP speaking on behalf of the EU. This is a simple MEP, not the entire EU and the EU legal department. This guy is a member of the Spanish Saville City Council, not a leader of the evil tentacled EU monster machine.
3. This article is deliberate EU-poking at the sake of a single mouth-piece, it has as much journalistic integrity as a US city mayor saying Britain doesn't own Gibraltar.
The shit, they had a referendum on this shit, about everyone except for one person wanted to remain British, where's the argument?

There isn't one. The Express (As always) is making it looking like 1 person = the entire EU. The EU is clearly fine with the decision as it hasn't imposed any mandates against the UK.

"We need you Farage! The imaginary things the EU keeps doing are still not happening! Please help!"
Yeah but I don't recognise British ~sovereignty~ over the Falklands either. Not how it is worded like that anyway.
I think the people who live there have ~sovereignty~ and can damn well chose who they want to be tied with. Be it British or Argentinian.
It just so happens to be Britain, for obvious reasons.
This has nothing to do with UKIP and the EU.

UKIP is not the answer, if you are referring to Mr. Niggel Farrij.

The only good thing he's done is make the Tories look (more) like idiots.
"Oh shit um oh god um do whatever UKIP says! We don't have any of our own ideas anymore!"
