Well, that was fast. Right on the heels of Sony’s announcement that the studio would be scrapping the Christmas Day release of “The Interview,” the film’s controversial climax has surfaced. The scene features North Korea’s leader, Kim Jung-un (Randall Park), meeting a fiery end as a missile hits his helicopter. As the tyrant perishes from the explosion, the scene is dramatically slowed down to the sounds of Katy Perry’s “Firework.”
Video in source: http://nypost.com/2014/12/18/kim-jong-un-death-scene-from-the-interview-leaks-online/
thats it?
thanks for spoiling it for others! same to you OP, could have cut that bit out.
Sorry, I edited it. That said, if someone's entering a thread about it, they should know there's spoilers abound.
Sorry, I edited it. That said, if someone's entering a thread about it, they should know there's spoilers abound.
its a bit stupid to put a spoiler in the title of the thread.
Sorry, I edited it. That said, if someone's entering a thread about it, they should know there's spoilers abound.
People might not want to know the specifics of the spoiler, but may want to know who leaked it, etc...
its a bit stupid to put a spoiler in the title of the thread.
Eh, I think everyone knew what the film was gonna be about
thats it?
I think this is one of the toned down versions of the scene that they sent to the higher-ups in Sony for approval. From what I hear the original has more face-melting involved and less fire covering his skull exploding.
its a bit stupid to put a spoiler in the title of the thread.
Don't know if the title was edited, but it's pretty clear he would die in the film given it is about assassinating him.
must suck to spend all your time working on a movie and then have it not be released
must suck to spend all your time working on a movie and then have it not be released
I mean they got paid for it so Im sure they arent too broken up about it
that scene is beautiful
must suck to spend all your time working on a movie and then have it not be released
must suck spending all your time working on a movie so fucking bad
I mean they got paid for it so Im sure they arent too broken up about it
Pay is one thing, but usually, when you're doing work in the film industry or similar, saying that you worked on the popular/well known film X is more important. This is esp. true when you need to find a new project to work on.
So counter terrorist win anyway?
must suck spending all your time working on a movie so fucking bad
movie was never released bud
Am I missing something or is the video not actually in the source?
Looks it was pulled... hold on. [editline]18th December 2014[/editline] Here is another mirror
Not any- ..what he said.
This is going to be [sp]"How dare you spoil Hitler dies at the end!"[/sp] from Inglorious Basterds all over again basically.
This is going to be [sp]"How dare you spoil Hitler dies at the end!"[/sp] from Inglorious Basterds all over again basically.
Wow, you spoiled Inglorious Basterds for me, jerk.
must suck spending all your time working on a movie so fucking bad
Oh man cool how did you get early access to watch it
Damn they literally just played this scene on my local news station, without any warning of spoilers.
I wish I hadn't spoiled that for myself now, that sounds hilarious.
seems a little anti-climatic considering the film is based about assissnating him to be honest. Oh well, Im sure it will be better if we were to actually watch the film, probably just sounds dull since no one has any idea what happens prior, maybe a huge firefight? who knows...
From the critics reviews and early screening the movie is apparently really shitty so them doing this is probably The best marketing they could do. Now everyone wants to see it.
I mean they got paid for it so Im sure they arent too broken up about it
actors in movies get paid with royalties
Who thought this film was going to be good? Seth Rogen is a nice guy, but I could never imagine him being able to pull off a huge political satire film. It is most likely his usual gags/pop culture jokes with DPRK references sprinkled in.
There's a reason they used Firework btw, which becomes clear if you watch the trailer
I have a feeling that some people could make gifs out of the leaked ending.
