People don't start smoking because cigarettes contain nicotine right? As far as I know, nicotine is the thing that makes you addicted, not giving the flavour.

You can smoke these anywhere because they don't produce the harmful and bad smelling smoke. Just putting water vapor into the air but at the same time people can get that nicotine from it that keeps them addicted to it. Well your choice if you want nicotine in it or not and how much.

Cigarette smokers are addicted to every aspect of smoking, and that includes putting a tube up to your mouth and puffing on it. The non-nicotine version takes the edge off of nicotine withdrawals for some people.
