Michael Beihn is currently attending Pensacon 2015, a regular convention in Pensacola and according to Reddit user Sskywarpe, Beihn stated he had been contacted about Neill Blomkamp’s upcoming Alien film: “I’m at Pensacon, just now gave Michael a Reece ReAction figure, said “This is yours… one question, have you been contacted for Alien 5?” He looked at me, smiled and said, “Yes.” Holy… shitake…” “He just walked by me and I said, ” Alien 5, you gonna do it!?” To which he replied, “Looks like it!” and smiled.”
Source: http://www.avpgalaxy.net/2015/03/01/michael-beihn-contacted-about-alien-5/
I can't believe they got his last name wrong 3 times there
I can't believe they got his last name wrong 3 times there
Four if you count the title, that's just doing it on purpose. Literally 5 seconds to check.
Four if you count the title, that's just doing it on purpose. Literally 5 seconds to check.
im a greasy piece of shit, sue me
Please let this happen. Good heavens, it'd be incredible just to see him onscreen as Hicks again, especially like he was in the concept art.
All of my hype right now
I didn't recognize him, so I googled him Kyle Reese from Terminator Damn right that's a good sign
I didn't recognize him, so I googled him Kyle Reese from Terminator Damn right that's a good sign
Also Johnny Ringo in Tombstone. He's awesome, gonna meet him at Monsterpalooza in Burbank at the end of the month.
I didn't recognize him, so I googled him Kyle Reese from Terminator Damn right that's a good sign
and Dwayne Hicks from Aliens of course
Also Johnny Ringo in Tombstone. Besides the obvious, I wonder what Biehn will be doing if he does get a role. [sp]Because I love Hicks and would be awesome to see him back to kick ass, but I know that there's a schism in the fan base on his death[/sp]

Oh thank god. I'm still pissed that we never got William Gibson's script for Alien 3 with Hicks as the protagonist.
if they could clone ripley for the sake of Alien 4, we can do some mumbo jumbo shit for the sake of an Alien 5.
Alien 5: Senior Edition
if they could clone ripley for the sake of Alien 4, we can do some mumbo jumbo shit for the sake of an Alien 5.
This movie was supposed to take place after 2, meaning 3/4 never happened canon wise.
That turned out to be a rumor. Blomkamp's official stance is that he's "not trying to undo 3 or Resurrection" with 5, whatever that means. The misconception apparently came about because he said that he wants his movie to be tied more closely to Alien and Aliens, and people assumed that meant direct Aliens sequel.
I love Biehn
Alien 5? Excuse me, sir, but I don't believe Alien 3 and 4 exist.
i feel like the only person that enjoyed Alien 3, and to a somewhat lesser extent, Resurrection.
3 was OK, 4 was...uhh..weird.
Oh boy, here's hoping for an alien resurrection 2! lol

That would probably be the best way to go.
Oh boy, here's hoping for an alien resurrection 2! lol
They can call it Alien Res-Erection 2, for all I care. If Michael Biehn is in it, I'll watch it.
That godawful shit is officially cannon, Hicks is alive it's some random tosser in the cryotube in Alien 3.
Really shouldn't go calling it 5 since it's between Aliens and Alien 3. People are gonna be confused about the chronology.
Really shouldn't go calling it 5 since it's between Aliens and Alien 3. People are gonna be confused about the chronology.
i think you are wrong here, i had the idea it would come after the events of 4
i think you are wrong here, i had the idea it would come after the events of 4
Not sure if that's terrible sarcasm but Blomkamp already said it's direct after Aliens. Yes rate me box despite the man saying it himself. 0:25

0:25
i think hes saying as how alien 3 and 4 went, they werent completing the circle of the alien 1 and 2 story arc, which means he wants to finish it and make a similar movie, that doesnt mean hes gonna do a direct sequel to aliens. But i see how you could see it that way, and i may be wrong too, but the guy said hes not ignoring alien 3 and 4. Even if it was between the movies, how could you justify the presence of ripley?
I'm a huge fan of Michael Biehn in Aliens and Terminator, but at the same time, it's been almost thirty years. After seeing what happened to Indiana Jones and the Terminator franchise, I'm skeptical of any studio bringing back aging actors to try to continue a franchise that peaked decades ago.
