THE OFFICIAL PARKING LOT LAN PARTY GUIDE
Well my friends were skateboarding near an old hospital near their houses, We saw the parking lot (Like many other parking lots) have these power outlets that connect to the car.
This could be a good opportunity to start a LAN party, Simply gather some friends, Make sure they have somewhat capable laptops, and then start playing once you get a good wireless network up.

(Rough guide on how to set up)
A recommendation for using a mousepad would be a hard piece of 1 inch thick plastic or synthetic plywood with some pantyhose stretched over.
If you get hungry then you could get together in a bonfire in the middle of the lot, roast marshmallows and hotdogs, This is what LAN parties are about, having fun with friends. :buddy:
Remember to bring these too

what happens if they start invading
Wouldn't it just be easier to get extension cords and use the laptops in some cars or something?
I mean, what happens if it starts raining?

I was thinking this, but rain is something more of a predictable factor.

Well, if you really want to take your gaming PC to a parking lot...
Portability and the fact desktops are harder to set up in a one power outlet station.

Wireless is way past the shit days of 2003. Wireless N is 300Mbps and when they're close together, that's great. I use wireless N on my desktop and I get great reception and no signal loss.
As for laptops, maybe his friends don't have desktops that their parents will let take to a parking lot.
that would require nerds to go outside
Wireless Local Area Network Network? :raise:
that would require nerds to go outside
this is what the guide is for
I would love to do this, but I do have a question. How do you avoid being kicked off for loitering?

The problem is interference. Every time my house phone rings and is connected to someone, my internet disconnects. It's like I'm still on dial-up.
Stupid fucking 2.4 GHz frequency. But I guess that wouldn't really be a problem given the circumstances of the OP

Get a CAT7e or CAT6.
You must have some shit internet if it disconnects whenever someone calls... Get a VOIP router box from cisco and use that for your phone like I do.

Well, my dad's getting 6 GHz wireless phones, so the problem's going to be fixed anyways

Yeah, I had a phone that did that, I switched to a 5.8Ghz phone set. They don't have the range of 2.4Ghz though, although it's still plenty, if you're not going through aluminum siding.
Don't do this. IIRC those outlets and spaces are for emergency vehicles to charge their shit.
And if I was a security guard and I caught you doing this I'd be pretty pissed.
