i doubt it, they want to keep the money to themselves.
Gotta look good for the hackers.
...So they need new crates cause I ain't gonna look good with these.
I play PUBG, and I've never once glanced at another player and thought to myself 'man, they got some neat clothes'. There's no time for that. Every encounter devolves into long-range missing and then death, or close-range wild spraying and missing, and then death.
I'm not good at videogames, but do people really care about these items? PUBG just doesn't feel like a game where cosmetics have any impact on the experience whatsoever. Not saying that's the case, but that's just how it feels for me.
RE it not being a noticeable detail on other players: 'fashion wars' is a satisfying angle to invest time and money into just for yourself, it's often really satisfying to have something that feels wholly unique and reflectant on your style when there's 100 other players running about in every match.
Beyond that, the other most valuable angle is that streamers can use this to really nail down a look that's recognizeable to their viewer base, or based on running jokes. Like there's no reason I should remember this because I don't play the game but I remember Russ from polygon looking like where's waldo without his pants for a few let's plays early on, it was dumb nonsense but grew to be recognizably 'him' during that time, you could spot him with ease even when the other people in his group were the ones streaming the video

Feel like a broken record.
You're ignoring the fact they have multiple teams working on the game .. the team working on this isn't the same team working on the games codebase.
Yeah because modellers are gonna know how to stop cheaters.

I got a skirt when it was pretty uncommon, I told it for like 140-150 USD on steam. I had it on the market for maybe 10 minutes tops and it was bought.
It's similar in Fortnite in my opinion. You won't have time to glance at someone's arse because you'll be too focused on killing your enemy.
Teammates for squads on the other hand is a different story I guess, but it's still such a minor detail to the game.
I see a lot of people use skins in Fortnite as callouts actually
"Brad Pitt behind the bus"
"There's a nutcracker underneath the stairs"
and so on

No?
I said If I'm gonna look good for the cheaters It's not going to be with these crates.
I'm complaining about cheating, but I didn't place burden on the modelers here.
Unless you mean about the cheating complaining, yes I am broken record there, the problem is when one doesn't care enough to complain that's when you're done with the game, hoping it doesn't get to that.
