Boston (CNN) -- For Hillary Clinton 2016, Warren Buffett is putting his money where is mouth is and making his first-ever donation to an independent political group. Buffett, the world's third-richest man and head of Berkshire Hathaway, gave $25,000 to Ready for Hillary, according to a source with the group. The donation, which will appear on the group's next disclosure form, is the max one donor can give under Ready for Hillary's self-imposed cap. Buffett has long disagreed with super PACs and in 2012 he stayed away from donating to them. Buffett has been bullish on Clinton for years. "Hillary is going to win, yeah," Buffett, an outspoken Clinton supporter, said at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit in October. "I will bet money on it. And I don't do that easily."
http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/04/politics/warren-buffet-hillary-clinton-super-pac/index.html
God, I hope not. A GOP win is probably inevitable, but Hillary will ensure it. Dems despise her for her Iraq war vote and coziness with Wall Street, and Republicans hate her for...everything, really. She's only a contender because she's been around long enough to assemble a massive fundraising base of rich plutocrats. She might as well have "status quo" tattooed on her forehead.
A thousand years of darkness
Well is there anybody better who has a realistic chance of winning?
Well is there anybody better who has a realistic chance of winning?
Pretty much anyone?
Obama came out of nowhere and beat her in the primary, why can't someone else do the same? The Democrats aren't going to reveal their new best candidates yet because all it'll do is give Republicans more time to dig up dirt.

She could have a brain aneurysm, an asteroid could hit the Earth, Scott Brown could switch parties...fucking anything can happen.
Doubtful, the republican party is going to win the next election
Hillary Clinton doesn't really seem like a politician people would fight and die for.
we'd elect rand paul over this cunt any day of the fucking week
we'd elect rand paul over this cunt any day of the fucking week
you know who would be a better president? [t]http://th04.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2014/018/0/1/potato_suit_by_keata_kaylee-d72696d.png[/t]

If Hillary gets fucking near the Whitehouse I'll be pissed. She is the literal definition of a hypocritical bitch.
The US needs real change, and Bernie Sanders is the only candidate who seems to be able to do that. Hopefully he'll go for the Democratic nomination and kick her ass in the primaries.
Bernie Sanders isn't electable, etc.. keep your eye on Elizabeth Warren 2024
How is he not?
Hilary will win because democratic party
Am I the only person here somewhat interested in the new Bush? He seems more like the Bush v1, and honestly he didn't do all that bad of a job. He might just have my attention.
Bernie Sanders '16
In a perfect world
It can happen. We just need to strive for it.
25k is chump change
I should run for president. [editline]6th December 2014[/editline] I'll run on a platform of Animu and Sharia law.
Let me put it this way: if Bernie Sanders were to run, I would volunteer for the campaign on principle He won't run though because he knows it's futile.. people here are underestimating the Clinton machine (in place since like 2012, and totally backed by the DNC) It might be more valuable for him to hold off until 2024 when Elizabeth Warren is a likely candidate so the two can push the Democratic platform towards progressivism
If there was a Sanders/Warren ticket in 2024 I'd probably spend my free time going door-to-door and encouraging people to vote.
We need someone who can connect with the average American citizen, an everyman. A relatable guy with a great personality. Someone like... Bruce is the president we need. #Chin2016

But Sanders is in his mid - 70s. 2024 may be too late for him. And by then the country may be unable to repair. Either way, both sound fine to me if he were to do it. I would volunteer for both campaigns, however.

The United States has going into slumps several times in the past, and has always managed to (mostly) get back into shape.
Hilary will win because democratic party
The democratic party is going to have a very hard time winning after the immigration reform, pipeline axed, obamacare's failure, and no real address on where the economy is actually heading. I would be VERY surprised if the dems win this next election

Plain and simple the Republicans have won the propaganda war on making Obamacare look bad, while the Democrats have failed in every conceivable way to make it look good. The thing the GOP has going for it is its public relations. Despite the stereotype of being greedy old white guys, their party has always had more success with appealing to the public image. Just look at Reagan. He was more of a GOP celebrity than a president. I don't know where the fuck you got your figures, but a quick look for sources turned up 20 million people enrolled or provided with insurance under the ACA. That is twice your highest estimate bucko.
