Hello Internet, I work for Subway and I just wanted to inform you all that your calls for cheese placement on our juicy, succulent subs to be altered have been heeded to. As of the past four weeks, Subway has begun internationally placing cheese as requested in this image:

I work at Subway and I can tell you there was no change in the way we place our cheeses. If you want it tessellated, ask for it.

That's not ironic, its just coincidental.
What if your cheese is in circular or hexagonal shapes?
I'm sure one reason why they do not tessellate is because it's faster to spread the cheese in a non-tessellating way then to tessellate them.

The guy who last served me at Subway laid the cheese down in the proper, geometrical manner. I was so astounded by it (because it's the ONLY time that it's ever happened) that without meaning to I voiced my opinion on how awesome his geometric cheese slice laying ability.
I'm excited for tessellated cheese arrangement.
If they don't do it when I go next time, I'll ask for it.

I'll only start doing this if customers ask me or if it's required. Otherwise i'd get weird looks from customers for arranging the cheese like that.
yesterday I went to France (lille) for a day and ate at a subway. I heard good things about subway but what I ate there (it had something with 'poulet' in the name so it was probably chicken) was just disgusting.
the girl that gave me the food could not even speak english, she could only speak 'un peu'.
anyway, I don't really see the point of putting the cheese in a different way, it's not like sandwhiches become any better

Trust me, misarranged cheese can ruin a sandwich. The subway near me always does it the right way, once I got it the wrong way and it broke my heart.
I just ask them to pile on the cheese anyway. :v:

I work at subway (im white) and let me tell you, im an exception. Out of the 12 or so people that work here, 9 or 10 are indian. And this is repeated at pretty much every subway ive ever been in.
