Jokes were kinda forced it seemed.

it was amusing in the beginning, but adding too many effects and text does ruin the joke. sometimes you just gotta let the game show itself.

It's like I'm really playing the most boring mission in fallout 3!

That field of view and those perpetually swaying iron sights gave me a headache. I liked the Scarface bit, though.

I giggled at the [sp]head explosion[/sp] at the end. Also I did not know that Fallout 3 would ragdoll you like that, unless it's a mod.

I think New Vegas is a better game than FO3

I think that they both have good things. Fallout 3 atmosphere and the enviroment were so many times better then F:NV whilst the writing was better in F:NV. They both have great mods though

this video does a good job demonstrating FO3/NV's combat clunkiness, awkwardness, lack of any movement strategy or tactics, and tendency to just turn into "shoot at eachother in the face until either one of you dies first or spam medkits". I know i'm probably a minority, and i'll agree there's a bunch of other redeeming content, but this really ruined the games for me.

It is just hysterical to visualize this nearly dead guy staring at his pipboy while frantically shoving every single edible item in his mouth and sticking every possible needle into himself before furiously charging towards his enemies.

Watched a few let's plays on the games to escape the awkward engine.

On paper FNV should be the better game but I found its atmosphere to be uninteresting. From the more saturated colors to the people you find it just doesn't give the same wasteland feel FO3 gives me. Both amazing games but both hitting completely different tones, hence the visible split on which is "better".
