This better make up for the second season, it kinda turned me off the show. But this does looking promising.
Aww yeah.

It looks like it's going to from what I'm looking at here.
If this trailer is a sign of anything, Season 3 will be more action and suspense-oriented like it should be. Perhaps even in the dialogue, also.
Can barely wait!
And how close is this to the comic? Is the black chick an original character for the show? In the comic I only got far enough in to see the barn full of walkers.
Holy shit that zombie woman is cray, reminds me of the Nigerian Hyena tamers and Hershel looks badass

Okay holy shit, it's zombie apocalypse Jericho, this better be fucking good, last season fuck all happened

Omg Murle, ohgod, OHGOD, ok I might actually watch this full season instead of getting bored half way through

the black chick is from the comics, very important character in fact.
She appears a few numbers after they get to the prison.
I liked the second season, but it was too slow, and nearly all the female characters are annoying as fuck
Man am I glad shit's finally moving on. Don't take me wrong, I liked watching last season, [sp]but I'm relieved that they're no longer going to be spending fucking forever having Shane and Rick bitchfight, looking for a dead girl, hanging around Hershel's farm, and bitching at each other about whether or not they're going to kill some dude.[/sp]
Also I like how all the characters look a bit more like time's gone by.
I can't wait!! I'm hopefully getting the second season collectors edition for my 18th birthday in August! I love this show!
Oh god they made it to the prison. Time for everything to go to hell. Based on how closely they follow the comics this will be a pretty fucked-up season.
Watched all episodes so far. Personally I cant wait until season 3.
That prison would be a fortress if they could get rid of all the walkers. Also a functional city after the outbreak? Very excited indeed!
This just isn't a good show.
Murle. oh shit
Awesome.
Since Darabont got sacked after ruining the plot of the second season in pre-production, Kirkman's really trying to turn the third season around.
It looks fairly faithful to the comic, so I'm hoping for the best.
Holy shit, they actually showed T-Dawg for a second or two!
This just isn't a good show.
Second season was fucking terrible but the show actually had a good start, so who knows ? maybe it'll get better in this season.
I'm not too optimistic about it, but it's early to say it's crap, so give it another chance.
"The greatest thriller ever produced for television."
Yeah....no
Don't see what's with the disagrees. It's a good show but it's hardly God's gift to TV.

I agree that the first season was okay and the second season was not good. But there are three reasons why I have hope for the show:
1. The two archetype characters (Dale and Shane) are dead, so Rick is actually going to have character instead of being the voter among paragon and evil.
2. The premise offered by the setting of a prison that must be cleared and restored is much more interesting than a fucking paradise farmland.
3. Zombie films/books/movies/etc. should always revolve around how the lack of cooperation between people was the real killer. While the second season did this, it came across more as a soap opera in doing so, the idea of an actual rival instead of the barely relevant gang really makes room for more action.
Im amazed they SEASON 2 SPOILER [sp] killed off Dale in season 2. [/sp] He played a big part in the comics for long after the prison and shaped andrea's character in a beneficial way. Also, I hope AMC makes the governor as aggressive as he is in the comics.
I know you should never judge the product only on the trailer, but this got me very excited. Looks much more interesting and it seems like things are happening for a change.

I don't think it happened like that, Darabont wanted to use some footage that was deemed unfit by AMC and was fired before he could get his hands on season 2 (Dont know what this footage was or why it was so bad, he also acted against AMC with the budget cut on season 2, lowering relations between Darabont and AMC).
Originally, Darabont wanted the first episode to be an Atlanta flashback about a group of soldiers fighting to survive in the city whilst showing glimpses of the original survivors. In the end of the episode, one soldier crawls into a tank and dies, the one rick climbs in, in the first episode.

The actual comic is different in many ways, for instance, dale is still alive and Shane dies way early on (I think in the first volume) he even dies differently, plus they removed very important characters. It would probably be pretty boring if the show was the same as the comic though.
I wish they had killed off Andrea, out of all the whiny characters she's the one that does my head in the most and hopefully this'll make up for season 2's ridiculously slow pacing.

Might want to spoiler tag that.
so i was wondering if i should watch this show
if i wait till the end of season 3 provided it is good, should i just watch 1, skip 2 and read a summary, and watch 3?
u shouldnt watch it at all because it's terrible.
This show needed something new... like zombies.

First season also had really awful parts, for example at least 3/4 of the dialogue was the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
