CARACAS, Venezuela — Venezuelan lawmakers who oppose President Nicolás Maduro were beaten and bloodied on the floor of congress Wednesday, as pro-government mobs stormed the building, apparently facing little or no resistance from security guards.
The attack left at least 15 people injured, according to opposition leaders, including one lawmaker who was rushed to the hospital with broken ribs and a head wound.
Scenes of the melee shared on social media showed masked pro-Maduro assailants kicking and punching lawmakers in the chambers of parliament and in the streets outside. Reporters inside the building were also attacked and robbed of their equipment.
There's several videos of the event and the aftermath, I'm trying to find the most SFW ones.

The attackers were probably paid by Maduro.
Seems like an intimidation tactic by Maduro.

Hopefully there are people out there able and willing to try these tactics on Maduro with the intent of dragging him out kicking and screaming.
Seems things are only escalating further by each day. wil lanybody from international community try to interfere?

I think it's now become apparent that democracy in Latin America is incredibly fragile and that neighboring countries won't be willing to cooperate until they have a full blown refugee crisis situation in their borders. The stability of Venezuela threatens the region, and the only way to avoid further escalation is by removing Maduro now, this very month, before the constituent assembly happens.
