It's an update video but I feel like it's important.
To have one million subs and not take any of the revenue is seriously impressive. Hes got a heart of gold.
To put it down right now, I don't blame him. And bonus points for making an announcement before going out with the changes.
I have a hard time believing anyone would hate him for this. Guy's awesome, if he wants to do it then he should.
hard to imagine people hate him, he's got a heart of gold. I see no problem with what he's doing.
It's his money, he's earned it. It's payment for entertainment of thousands.
Thank god, now I can watch his videos without feeling like I'm eating a 3 star restaurant and making Gandhi pick up the tab.
Even in the absolute shittiest situation he wants to do what's right in his mind. Cr1TiKaL has a very admirable personality under his usual youtube character god damn.
This is how every famous person should be. Fucking hell I love you Critical.
The fact that he still donates that much when he's in a tight spot makes me like him more.
This is pretty cool I wish he does more content in the future and let us get to know him better
i'd follow his example if i ever were to make videos. selling yourself out for money is too much a common sight on youtube.
I would sit through one of those unskippable 30-second ads if it meant Cr1TiKaL could afford to eat.
I just disabled Adblock on Youtube for him.
Dude needs a Patreon for personal revenue and then ad money for donations, or something.
my friend finds Cr1TiKaL stupid because of how long he didn't take Youtube money like I know it's actually kinda irrational when you have all those problems in your life, but why we should be that concerned about this? :(
I wouldn't think any less of him even if he were to take the money for himself.
I understand where he's coming from on the job front when but when life is shit and you're unemployed you really do need to take any job you can get. He's a great guy but it's a terrible attitude of not taking a job just because you don't like the sounds of it. It isn't a liberty you can take when money is tight.

And he picked to put a small add before his videos, giving him enough money to live a stable life without having to do a job that makes him feel miserable.

If the only jobs that are offered to you is basically slave work with slave salary and poor working conditions, I'd rather not take that job at all. Even if I'm poor and unemployed. Might not be the case in other countries, but where I am from we have a somewhat working safety net for those kinds of things.

It gets to a point where you'd rather just not even try, than put forth the depressing effort to throw yourself into another warm-body job. Now I gotta fandangle with Adblock so I can support him. I've gotten so use to a life without internet ads, it's always cringe-worthy to watch professors setting up a youtube video in class and then making us all sit through the unskippable ads. :v:
Dude needs a Patreon for personal revenue and then ad money for donations, or something.
You see how he only takes ad money when he pretty much has no other chance (or just get his life together like he mentioned), I don't think he has the heart to have other people pay him money for this

You go on benefits and after a certain amount of time you will inevitably get bullied into losing your benefits if you don't get a job.
It sounds like his voice is cracking in this video, like he's really upset. Hope his life turns around soon.

Although i'm taking this from a friend who had to claim Job Seekers for a while. And i might have to do so myself since chances are i'm not getting into University this year and my only source of income ends in June. I might be wrong here though about Job Seekers though. And as much as i am willing to unlike some people, i really dont want to be working for next to fuck all and i sure as hell dont want to be working for "experience". I've done enough of that. I can understand where Crit is coming from, to be honest.
It sounds like his voice is cracking in this video, like he's really upset. I'm genuinely impressed it has taken this long for him to even consider touching the Youtube money.
Can't blame him. Delivery trucking job sucks.
An update: A convenient link: https://www.patreon.com/Cr1TiKaL
Did Cr1TiKal even accept the money he was being paid when he had a job? From how reluctant he sounds to accept money from others, he probably just immediately donated to charity. Eitherway, a Patreon is the best thing for him and honestly, I'm kinda glad he's doing one, he deserves the help.
At least he's trying to work out a solution. Better than him just vanishing from the Internet entirely. Patreon should work quite nicely for at least letting him eat and do this fun shit. So are all Youtube partner groups scummy fuckballs? Because I have heard so little good about any of them outside of the few people that are so large they might as well run the partnership group they work under.
