There were plenty of witnesses, but no one seemed to do anything to stop it. Instead of helping the women, a man dragged her around as if she was a rag doll. The woman that showed us the video left before police and EMS arrived and rushed the 18-year-old to St. John Hospital, but she said she has not stopped thinking about the young woman and has decided to come forward now hoping the video will help. After the victim got out of the hospital, police called her to take her complaint, but she never called them back. After she got released from the hospital, the police contacted her, but she never contacted them back. That is extreme. Meanwhile the other person gets charged with assault, but what if they can't prove who started the fight? No jail time. So it's all just a waste of everyone's time and she is no safer than before.
