Considering it's being made by Platinum I expect a relatively good one. Metal Gear Rising was pretty good on PC indeed.

You only get a trophy for that, no? Don't bother, you don't need to do that for all the endings.

And so was Transformers. Not to mention Platinum has a good relationship with Valve and they want to port their stuff to PC if they get the chance.
I've heard the ports of Korra and TMNT were pretty bad though, but that was probably because they weren't given enough money to make proper ports (or proper games for that matter).

IIRC you just have to -have- all the weapons, not upgrade them all.

You only need to collect all the weapons to get endings C and D, not upgrade them all.
100% in approval of this announcement. More Platinum on PC is always a good thing.
I hope this results in the original getting a PC port too. It's a nightmare trying to find a copy right now.

This is perfect I am going to enjoy this after playing Nier previously and the Drakengard games.
I almost bought a ps4 for this.
If any of you are interested, Two Best Friends are currently playing the original Nier. They've finished ending A and are working on the others now.

In any case, if you have a compatible console it's worth playing it anyway I think, even with all the flaws it has.
It's roughly in the 10 to 30$ range, depending on whether you get it new or used. I kind of regret not doing that instead of watching the LP.
I was hoping the original game would get ported too, but I'm sure the ps3 architecture makes that impossible. Still, it is a fantastic game, and I can't wait for the sequel.

The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2, Persona 5 (if you don't have a ps3).
But yeah i agree, I rarely use my PS4 anymore.
