Randomly while using my PC the monitor will go black, no adjusting of the cables or anything fixes it.
I can still hear sound for about 5-10 seconds then that goes out, then the whole PC shuts down.
My first guess was the PSU, however after switching it out with my dads, it still does the same.
Possibly related, my CPU stopped displaying 4 cores and now only shows 3.

Updated, I do believe it's fixed.
I went into my BIOS and disabled the ASUS core enabler and reactivated my number 3 core, and since then no crashed.
Not sure how those two things happened as I never changed them though.
I'll update if anything else happens, but is there anyone who can possibly tell me why that would cause my computer to shut off under load?

Download HWMonitor and check your CPU temps anyways for overheating problems.
