[url]http://www.wimp.com/showingpolice/[/url] This guy's phone rang while he was on the street and so a cop detains him and calls in two sheriffs just because the guy won't show his ID. The guy is going with the law, but the cops (especially the one that detained him) are saying fairly stupid things and making stuff up. It's a 30 min video, but you'll facepalm at a lot of the bullshit that the cops bring up during the conversation.
Some cops can be real assholes.
Those cops are dumbasses.
why didn't he just show his ID.
That cop is pompous, but on the other hand, the kid made it extraordinarily stressful. Honestly, just show your drivers license so they can run your name and let you go. Why does he have a problem with that if he obviously has nothing to hide? But still, the cop was a know-it-all douchebag. "it's unreasonable to record this" or whatever the fuck he said, then asking stupid questions like who he's going to vote for. But THEN he says "yes you have to take my word for it", which is also bullshit. Police have dangerous jobs, we show them ID for a reason.
Note how most of the asshole cops are fat.
The guy was an asshole not the cops. I disagreed with some things the cops said, but they weren't doing anything wrong.
Only in USA.
At the end, the cop starts TELLING him "You're not concerned with..." which is just wrong, but STILL the kid wouldn't SHUT THE FUCK UP. As a normal human being I can see why the police were frustrated.
Why was he talking like a freak, those officers should have killed him there and then.
I watched it. They guy taping it had no idea what he was talking about. [editline]02:04PM[/editline] Cops can ask you for ID if they have reasonable suspicion that you have committed an infraction.
I hate people like him.. Not the cop.. He could have just gave him his ID if he had nothing to hide because he IS a police officer not just a "human being who has no right to see his ID" because he wants to.. Its his Job to check.

[editline]02:04PM[/editline] Cops can ask you for ID if they have reasonable suspicion that you have committed an infraction.[/QUOTE] I think his point was that it's unreasonable for them to just be able to call anyone out for "reasonable suspicion." Which it is. But I agree that the guy took it too far. I would have just shown my ID and been on my way. On that note, though, the cops took it too far as well. I wouldn't say he's providing reason to be a suspicious, he's just being angsty and rebellious.
