Super sexy weather system and... shit tons of co-op/social stuff. 1080P and open-world, so you can road trip with your bros." White Xbone incoming. Why all the leaks? Scared you might get caught? "I am incapable of fear. Plus, this is such exciting stuff, and me talking about it ahead of time isn't going to hurt anything, truthfully. We're all chomping at the bit for it to come out. This is not bad. " Halo Anniversary 2 will be 1080p, iffy on the 60fps, maybe not. Quantum Break is Holiday 2014 Multiplayer confirmed for HA2, same devs as Halo Anniversary. Sunset Overdrive is Fall 2014 Is not Phil Spencer Black Tusk cancelled project was called "Shangheist." May have involved stealing stuff from the Chinese (though I think that may have been a reference to the name and maybe not the gameplay? Not sure...) Fable Legends is Summer 2015 Halo 2 Anniversary includes beta for Halo 5 Gears of War will probably need a 2.5 year dev time. First Titanfall DLC is 45 days from release, then another one 120 days from release. No Crackdown 3 news this year most likely, since it's a 2016 title. A list w/dates of the rest of the Tier 2 and Tier 3 countries that Xbone will release in this year. No info/idea on what Rare's up to, sadly. $399 XB1 this year? "Maybe one without an Optical Disc Drive."
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=760013
They better not fuck up another Fable. Oh who am I kidding?
$399 XB1 this year? "Maybe one without an Optical Disc Drive."
AKA "Fuck your ability to buy a random game at a store and play it!" price.
No info/idea on what Rare's up to, sadly.
How about a new Conker title? Or if you want to play it safe Banjo-Kazooie? I know this might surprise Microsoft, but lots of people actually do remember these games and a sequel might sell some consoles. MAGIC!
AKA "Fuck your ability to buy a random game at a store and play it!" price.
Microsoft has been trying to push for digital purchasing for the Xbone since it was first announced. They tried to do too much too fast and got a lot of flak for it. So I think releasing an Xbone without a disc drive in a future would be a good way to ease the transition from physical to digital. Also, I don't know why you're hating digital download when you have 62 games purchased on Steam.

I have over 200 games on steam but I can still buy a disk and install a game that way if I want. With the XBone I could buy a game from Microsoft for €60, or buy it pre owned and support my local store for like €30-€40. If they want to push digital downloads they need to start lowering the price on digital sales.

Hey, will Crackdown 3 not be a pretty much complete remake of the first one again, except with the city shittier so the exploration feels less fun?
Microsoft has been trying to push for digital purchasing for the Xbone since it was first announced. They tried to do too much too fast and got a lot of flak for it. Also, I don't know why you're hating digital download when you have 62 games purchased on Steam.
digital download on a PC is very very different than on a console you know a PC is very personal whilst a console is extremely shared, sometimes even with more than 4 people. When you're at your home PC being able to buy and instantly download a game is huge it's also huge for a console, but collecting physical copies is such a big culture when it comes to them as well. Additionally, so is sharing and selling your old console games. Disc's are an issue with PC more often then for a console I'd say. And besides that, Valve actually pretty much revolutionized PC gaming on a massive level with digital download. Digital download is no joke, a MASSIVE deal. But sometimes it just can't beat physical. While CD's are slowly becoming obsolete to where some computers don't even have a disc tray, and for good reasons, it would be a huge loss if they were to have a console without one. Imagine if consoles didn't have CD trays period. Anyone without internet literally cannot play it.
Who will be developing Crackdown? If I remember correctly it was Realtime or (Realworld can't remember) Worlds or something, and they shut down.
The Halo 2 HD stuff makes sense because of all that Halo 2 nonsense awhile back with Halo 2 on Steam.
No, you can do it deathstarboot. Don't buy one. It will be a $500 Halo machine. But, Halooooo. NO! Stop it, stop it now. You know the Xbone's flaws. Is it really worth it? I dont know what to do.
Anyone without internet literally cannot play it.
I don't know a single person without an internet connection. Besides, it's not like a discless console would replace the current xbox...

I still have hope that they will bring it out on PC but then again I sometimes have some sort of hope that Nitendo will ever put games on the pc.
Couldn't care less without official confirmation.
no halo 3 pc :(
stay optimistic, my friend. it's an xbone leak, not a MS leak
Also, I don't know why you're hating digital download when you have 62 games purchased on Steam.
Different platform, different expectations. On PC, yes, I do like digital downloads. Steam is amazingly convenient and has the best prices for PC games ever. Also the only place I can actually buy the fucking things. When I'm on a console, however, I have a much different expectation. On a console I expect to be able to insert disc --> play. No fuss, no downloads, nothing. Just stick it in and play the game. And a console without a disc drive just goes against that.

(protip: buy xbox live codes online from reputable sites and you'll buy it for less than PS Plus) go for it. I'm probably going to buy an Xbone when I get the money to in a year or twos time
Who will be developing Crackdown? If I remember correctly it was Realtime or (Realworld can't remember) Worlds or something, and they shut down.
Yes, it was Realtime Worlds that made the first one before they went all in with APB. I'm guessing It would be Ruffian Games again making the third one, they made the second one and they are also Scottish. Has it really been 10 years since Halo 2 came out?
So I think releasing an Xbone without a disc drive in a future would be a good way to ease the transition from physical to digital.
Um, no, it's not a good idea. And the reason why people buy the physical copy, instead of digital download. Is because they want to save their internet data limits (if they have one), or is because their slow internet speed (Dial-up for example). Now I know many people may not have Dial-up anymore, but you get the idea.

Has all this stuff been confirmed? Or are they just pulling dates out of their ass to stir shit up.
over at neogaf apparently bullshit leakers get banned by the admins but the admin cleared him up so..
They better not fuck up another Fable. Oh who am I kidding?
If it's xbone exclusive it might as well not exist in the first place.

There's literally no difference, beyond the fact that you will be able to install it from disc and not from Steam. You can't buy Steam games used from your local shop. But yeah, Microsoft should probably lower the price on digital games.
