vive exclusives exist too, and not because of anything but being developed on one and not the other

Oculus have the Touch controllers. Not too different alltogether.

Its going to be hard for rift owners to use the touch controllers when they havent been released yet.
For right now, vive does have a reason to have exclusives, but once those are released you are right.
