Whenever I CTRL+ALT+DEL and pick Task manager my CPU % is at 25-30% then it lowers to 0-1% after two seconds Is this normal?
Well it does the same on me, so I guess it is.
There is new malware around that burn up your CPU. Check the task manager process list, see if it is "rundll32" burning up your CPU. If so, right click -> Open File Location, then end the process and delete the entire folder it was in. [editline]26th May 2014[/editline] Also run a virusscan.
It's just when he opens up task manager. Then it goes back down. That's fairly standard.
Yeah, this is absolutely nothing to worry about. Task manager always gives a slightly overblown reading for the first second or so of it being open before it drops off to normal.
