• What era was Megadeth's "Duke Nukem" song written?

Bands go through changes - lineups, sound, producers, locations etc - and I'm wondering if any Megadeth nutters know when their "Duke Nukem" song was written? It doesn't *sound* like anything from the past few years, but I'm no expert on their history. Any ideas?
My guess is somewhere in the time of Countdown to Extinction, but could be later on and Megadeth replicated the style of that time.
You guys do know that it's a cover version of the theme to Duke Nukem 3D?
No need to be a cunt. Also your names misleading!

Its sometime 1999, based off this: http://www.3drealms.com/news/1999/08/come_get_some.html
