Usually when you see stories like this, they sentence them to something pathetic like two years and $10'000 bail. I'm glad the justice system is being appropriate for once.

I've had the opportunity as a CO to work with some of the states most awesome sex offenders (Fucking hate high sec). They're truly people who are lost and can never be helped, they're vial and disgusting excuses for human beings. Even if you want to call them that, they lack any shred of humanity. None of them felt bad about what they did, they felt bad about getting caught. I'm not talking about some guy who fucking had a few CP on his comp, I'm talking about full fledged sexual assault like the person the OP linked too. 22 years min and 60 years max may seem a bit extreme, but for these people it isn't. They will re offend if the chance presents themselves. I feel horrible for the detectives that work these cases and often have to keep track and continued communication with these people when they get out so they're under constant supervision.

He told about a time a bunch of the other inmates got together and beat some pedo to near death. Most inmates absolutely hate criminals who do things to children.
