Not sure whether this is going to be a feature length film (It has the words "Short Film" in the description but I don't know if that's referring to the video itself). Personally I think it looks just a little bit melodramatic, but the stunts are pretty good and there's a lot of original stuff there. I'd be interested in seeing the final product. [editline]19th January 2012[/editline] also this flagged some sort of content filter when I was posting it and I had to enter a captcha for some reason??? :(
Jensen looks fat though... whoever that guy was. He doesn't have that slick face.
Private video?
Private video?
Private video.
why the hell is it private now?
damn it.
fuck. that one still frame looked cool though
Should have downloaded it while I could.
it's private what a shame
What a rotten way to go private.
I never asked for this video to be private
I'll see if I can hack my way into the YouTube mainframe. Only thing I'm worried about is that it will be nothing but action with a weak story as a framing device like a lot of live-action "fan" videos, which is not the point of Deus Ex at all. Still, it looks pretty damn creative and well-produced, so we shall see.
It looks like it has quite high production rates, but... I feel iffy about it. From what I've seen there's several different action scenes, and I'm worried that they won't be able to fit in a plot at all in the amount of time they have.

They are using RED camera's and if i am correct these are RED EPIC Those are some expansive camera's, they are using 5 of them for the production of The Hobbits
I do say sir, I must attest This is not a thing which I did request
Looks pretty interesting, is the article on kotaku removed?

Goddammit. I came into this thread hoping to make a "I never asked for this" joke but I'm too late already. Oh well. Looks kinda cool though.
I hope it isn't ruined by bad settings.
Promo film for new DX DLC?
for a second there i thought it meant the first deus ex kind of disappointed
for a second there i thought it meant the first deus ex kind of disappointed
The first deus ex wouldn't make for a very good action movie.
The first deus ex wouldn't make for a very good action movie.
How much you want to bet? :zoid:
As I much as I want them to finish this, I expect it will be just random fight scenes with DE:HR characters in it. Then again, it would require a lot of work and resources to actually make a story-driven fan film, plus the game tells the plot perfectly.
How much you want to bet? :zoid:
Nothing, the first game wasn't action-y enough to be an action movie. Would be better for like a Sci-fi drama or something.
