This guy deserves so many more subs. If you haven't seen him before, he debunks a ton of fake viral videos, things of that nature, while learning you something new. Today, with a special cameo.

It's been a while since I've seen Beakman.
so much was spot on.
Subbed to this guy right after I first saw a video of his. It's adoringly cheesy and really well-made for a Youtube show and this video was no exception.
This was pretty awesome. I'd love to see more
I still can't believe how many people think "free energy" devices would ever work. Conservation of energy is built into the laws of physics from the lowest energy scales we can probe up to the highest. The only regime where we suspect it's violated is in the expanding universe, i.e. you'd have to have a device larger than the galaxy to take advantage of it. So no, your tabletop wheel with some magnets attached is not going to generate free energy.

Well there are things like breeder reactors and "200%" efficient transistors that cheat by drawing power from their environment, so I don't think it's unreasonable that someone with a passing knowledge of physics could assume it was something like that.
Beakman's got some swag.
This feels like an old science video from when I was in school.

That was the goal. The episode was guest starring Paul Zaloom who used to host the educational TV show Beakman's World which aired in the early 90s.

Decided to look it up, and its kind of cool how similar their styles are.
