Buck should definitely be in "Very useful." If you had to swap one out, probably swap out Twitch since she got nerfed really hard.

Rook because at least I can serve my team somehow before getting shot in the head through a wall from an angle I never even considered.
Thatcher because he has an L85 and has the ability to clear rooms with electronics in a matter of seconds. EMP grenades do splash damage so they are capable of disabling electronics on the other side of a wall.
I really like the idea of Vigil's gimmick but they need to get rid of the damn fuzzy "there's a vigil in here" indicator on the cameras, or at least drastically lower the radius it appears in. Part of the hypothetical appeal of Vigil is that they won't be able to see your pick and plan accordingly but they don't even have to scan you to immediately figure out there's a Vigil present by getting within a mile of you.
He's not really good at surprising people overly relying on cams either for the same reason
It does baffle mr why they never buff a character used less often competitively than recruit. At least do something simple like make the shield on the gun extend lower or give it more range of motion.

I'd like it if they just got rid of the tripod and made it his primary maybe with less accuracy, and made him slower with it equipped, and have louder footsteps.
Bandit can be good for creating traps and possible choke points...
For defenders, i've either gone Mute or Rook.
Mute's jammers are actually really powerful and i prefer him over Bandit.
I enjoy using Twitch as my offensive main. I don't know what it is about her, but I can really do some damage with her F2. I don't use the drone a lot after the recon part of the round, though.
As for defense, I switch between Jäger and Castle. The former for when I can handle the enemy team on my own, the latter for when I cannot.
Smoke is pretty insane all around. Second best shotgun in the game, best secondary in the game, and the currently most gamebreakingly overpowered defense gadget in the game. And as an added bonus, both of his common gadgets are really good.
Really enjoy bashing shit with Montagne, so it has to be him.
