sounds intriguing
I just want van braun :/
Van Buren.
I just want van braun :/
Caesar's Legion was supposed to be a huge part of Van Buren and so was the Hoover Dam area. Now I can't wait for this.
Sandworms, eh? I'm picture a fucking epic chase with a dude in an awesome-looking "scavengerish" car being chased across the post-apocalyptic desert my a giant fucking worm.

If there really is going to be vehicles in Fallout Vegas, I'm sure they're going to cut the details within exploring. I say this, because borderlands did that.
:gizz: [editline]09:32AM[/editline] Been waiting for details on this. I hate when they make "empty announcements" of games with no actual info or screenshots or anything.
I hope we don't get to see 70% boarded up houses left to explore. Oh and less invisible walls.

Oh no, not the vehicles, please...
Let's hope it supports modding as much as Fallout 3 did.
Ooh, seems to be good.
Oh fuck yes [editline]11:34AM[/editline] I LOVED Fallout 3 [editline]11:34AM[/editline] I think I'll go play it again
Sounds awesome :D
This sounds really awesome, especially the ability to play as Ghoul.
Please be true.
Sounds great, but it takes some time that they make this game. Maybe 2 years.
I really hope they give some official information for it soon. This is the only thing we've heard about new vegas since it's annoucement and we don't even know if it's true. However I do hope all this is true because it sounds interesting.
They better bring back the old tribal feeling. I hated the fact that fallout 3 felt too futuristic in most aspects.
What the fuck, chinese agent? How the hell will that work? Will it have a cut scene where the player learns fluent English over the span of several years or will it just have him instantly learn it fluently by himself in a cave? :geno:

Dur. Use your head.
Sounds like Mad Max
The Chinese agent thing sounds crazy awesome. Maybe you'd get to play as him and infiltrate the dam with your squad before the war? That would be awesome too. We have a general idea of what the pre-war Fallout universe looked like (Tranquility Lane, advertisements), but we have never actually been there. I would love that.
I'll quote Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds on this subject
Facts can often be misleading. While rumors, true or false can often be revealing.
Ontopic: Sounds cool. I enjoyed Fallout 3, but when I beat all of the quests, the game got really boring. [editline]08:09AM[/editline] Sounds cool. So basically Fallout: New Vegas/Rosetta Stone.
One background story is shown, Chinese Agent. The background story takes place before the bombs fell. The player is part of a team of Crimson Dragoons infilitrating Hoover Dam. You manage to sneak through the Americans' defenses, set explosives, and head to an extraction point, but your escape is cut off by American soldiers in Power Armor. The player and other survivors of the Crimson Dragoons take refuge in a cave in the canyons, where they commit hari kari with cyanide capsules. The player about to do the same when the bombs fall. The background story ends an indeterminate time later, when the player exits the cave, removes his helmet, and sees his ghoulish reflection in the waters of the Colorado River.

The background story ends an indeterminate time later, when the player exits the cave, removes his helmet, and sees his ghoulish reflection in the waters of the Colorado River.

sees his ghoulish reflection in the waters of the Colorado River.

ghoulish reflection

reflection
Gamebryo.
Gamebryo.
Even if they still use the same engine i am sure they upgraded it.
