I'll start with an obvious one... Y2K. Actually had some slightly credible evidence yet didn't happen.
I think when my Internet died for a month.
How about, we think about all the times we see these shit threads?
The time when OP didn't use fast threads
when people make clever comments about other people not putting threads where they belong.
Nobody thought Y2K was the end of the world dumbass
Well let's see when people compared world event's to 'revelations' from the bible. and people walk around thinking that "now" we are in the end times when my mothers grandma's generation was supposed to be in the end of the end times.....CONFUSING.
The only reasonable evidence about the 2012 thing is Einsteins 'prediction'.

Care to elaborate some more, this is new to me.
"Note" I did not say ANYTHING about 2012. I was just wondering how many other events were there that people thought the world was going to end. I remember my friend telling me that one day there was supposedly some meteorite that was going to crash into earth and kill everything... again nothing happened.

Don't really know that much about it, but I was watching a documentary on discovery once, and they said Einstein warned about a polar shift in 2012.

Quick flick to google shows book coveres skewed to look box shaped, and a page saying polar shift would make atomic bombs all blow up and make the earth spin the wrong way

Sites like this never scare me.
Best Korea will launch nukes anyway on the last day of 2012 so its inevitable
