Created by the Progenitors in the dying days of the Pro-Com war, the Legion represented humanity’s last ditch effort to defeat the Machine Liberation Army (MLA). It failed. When the superweapon was unleashed which disabled the MLA the Legion were not spared. Millennia later they have awoken and seek to win the unwinnable war for which they were created, in memory of their masters.
A labour of love put together over the course of one-and-a-half years, the Legion Expansion introduces over a hundred new units to form an entirely new faction equal in size and scope of the original. You can use it in multiplayer, or play against the AI in skirmish; both are fully supported.
The Legion lack the mobility and numbers of the MLA, instead their focus is on raw power. While the enemy are many, the Legion’s armour is strong and their guns powerful. They do not focus on early raiding or rapid expansion, rather they prepare themselves to strike a single mighty blow that both begins and ends the battle.
The Legion Expansion is Planetary Annihilation TITAN's first faction modification, adding new commanders and a host of completely unique units and buildings.
Playable in both skirmish and multiplayer modes, this mod can be downloaded through the Planetary Annihilation TITANS Community Mods section. Search for 'Legion Expansion'.

when am i getting compensated for buying the first release tho
I wish they'd include a DLC for existing players, not trying to spend $40 all over again. They literally released this a month after I bought the first one.
I feel like Planetary Annihilation is the RTS for the rest of us, i.e one where you can just splurge as many units as possible and hope for the best and the best may actually come. And if that doesn't work, just nuke the enemy commander, knowing exactly where he is because you have a radar so FoW just isn't a thing. Then if that doesn't work out just teleport your commander to a random moon then shoot a planet at the planet your enemy's commander is one.

they should have done it like the devs of dying light did, or how they just did it with the remaster of dead island. pretty sure everyone that owned the original version of dying light got definitive completely free, and owners of dead island get the remaster 80% off. they did a discount for PA, but it was like only a week and 20% off or something, completely ridiculous. how does that % off help me if i didnt have the money for it during that week? and even then 20% off is fucking nothing, im not buying a game twice just because they decided to screw me over like that

I know what they did was scummy and I agree but this isn't about that, this is about an awesomely made community centered mod.

This isn't an official DLC, this is a community made effort that's completely free for Titans, that is apparently completely backed by the creators who say this is completely canon.
Unless you mean turning Titans into a DLC instead of what they actually did and released it as a full priced game, then yeah, I agree with you.

Though apparently you can upgrade your Planetary Annihilation copy on steam for like £10.59, so I guess that sort of counts as a way of getting it as an "expansion pack"
Buy Planetary Annihilation - Upgrade to Titans
Buy this if you own Planetary Annihilation on Steam for a special upgrade price.
I wish they had made the second race more visually different.
