I dunno, this could be obvious to most folks, but still an interesting topic at hand. I mean these days people seem to be offended by everything, and, it feels abit wrong, since checks and rules are always written to these people, they practically rule the media, and public opinions, because the more of a loud-mouthed idiot you are, the more likley you are to win a case, or a bill, or whatever.
I mean, most of us people with common sense just leaves the subject alone, thinking "Well, if I don't like nudity, I'll just stop watching porn and just fap to MTV.", or "If I don't like swearing, I'll just turn the dial on the radio.", but, these days, these self-righteous madmen seem to be everywhere, and they see themselves as the superiour element, and, since us with common sense tends to leave them alone, they get their will through.
But is it the right thing to do? I mean, they slowly strip us of our liberty, and put several innocent people behind bars. How would you feel if Garry made a post, saying "We're sorry, but we're gonna have to shut down these forums, someone sued us for our overuse of profanity and freedom of speech."
Because let's face it, no human rights or constitution can fight a solid case in the courtroom, if you're near a school, or if something is "potentially exposed to children", they got a case more solid than Eva Angelina's tits. It just feels like we should stop being quiet and fight fire with fire, before all our liberties are being taken away before our very own eyes. I mean, sure, we should protect our children to some degree, but the biggest responsibility should be on the parent, not the government.
I mean, do we really want to have such a vague and pointless argument ruining it for the rest of us, I mean, if a kid (IE: Ages 4-9) watches porn or swears or gets exposed to fictional violence, isn't that the parent's fault, rather than whomever it is that distributes it? Not to mention that if a kid's world is sugarcoated all the time, they normally won't make it in reality very well. But that's not the point, the point is, we should be more "offended" by people who act "offended", since, well, they take away our rights and joys, and we can only stop them if we openly disagrees with them infront of the government, or the commonwealth, or the whatever the heck they're complaining to.

It was just a hypothetical example, because in a few decades, who knows? I mean, if the forum is still up, which, sadly, I doubt it is, I mean, all forums have a limited lifespan. I will tell a local, Hungarian example.
Some years ago, some gypsy guy got stabbed on a tram with a sword.
He claimed to have been attacked by a group of skinheads, and the media and liberals and the government went batshit insane, talking about needing to purge racism and stuff, and all telling the other passengers of said tram to feel bad, because they didn't go there and prevent such things from happening. So, the whole media was screaming in agony over the whole thing, when suddenly, the police investigation revealed that there wasn't any skinhead group.
The guy got stabbed by another gypsy dude over some bullshit.
Yet the country almost flipped over and almost new laws have been put into effect [b]because of a simple lie[/b].
The problem with racist matters these days is that everyone is so quick to be offended before even making sure racist wrongdoings actually happened.
What I want to know is why people seem to actively ignore warnings labels and ratings, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here, the same parents that are bitching about drugs, sex and violence in movies and video games are the same idiots who allowed their children to be exposed to it.
