And a man saved on the phone he found is asking for $5 million dollars for his release. All he has in the coffin is a flashlight, a lighter, a cellphone, 2 glowsticks, and a knife. I felt the movie was not as good as I expected it to be.
Keep thinking of that CSI episode where Nick Stokes is in a similar situation. However, I would like to see this movie.

It could be a cool movie, I'm just worried that they fucked it up.
It was dumb. You see no other scene, but the box he is in. [sp]And he dies in there, making it pointless.[/sp]
Interesting concept, horrible execution. Ending was meh.
The Execution was pretty good, but they could use some more locations and a better ending..
It would've been good to have other locations [sp]if that didn't ruin the fact that the whole movie was a metaphor for how difficult it is to do something over the phone.[/sp] What did you expect from an indie movie?
Whatever cell phone service he has I want.
Just for the bragging rights; my fathers cousins son in law wrote the script. Too bad the guy who runs the films slept during the film, so we had to wake him up two times. Sleepin on the job!
Could have put a bit more info in the OP, like who stars in it and the like. Ah, just noticed the very small "Ryan Reynolds" above the title in the picture.

Of course the cell he has is on att in this film, they may not say that now after the final cut, but i think it can be assumed, i would not have brought this up, but i got pissed this week, as how many service calls it took this week, and not being able to steam. Also, this title reminds me of phonebooth. yes, i only got to see part of this film.
He's in a coffin and he has only 90 minutes of air. And he's using a lighter :downs: [editline]27th November 2010[/editline] Also what the hell can you not triangulate calls, I thought you could.
Infinite oxygen?
I dunno about the ending being dumb. It affected me so bad... my god [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] And it partially reminded me of a long version from that scene in The Game
haters gonna hate. it was an epic INDIE movie
Just for the bragging rights; my fathers cousins son in law wrote the script.
Which means he isn't related to you whatsoever..? Yay for you?
Buries was a nice movie as I read the reviews . i have seen this movie with my friends but we does not like this movie as much
SPOILERS [sp]I like how the guy is digging up the the main character and it's all intense. "HE's GETTIN SAVED!!". And bam! just like that they don't save him and get the wrong guy. I was like what the fuck man? [/sp]
[sp]The ending sucked, because he didn't survive.[/sp]
The movie was average, I didn't like how it only showed 1 scene which was in the box. Even showing the people on the other end of the phone calls he made would have been more exciting. I liked how the ending was executed though.
Why'd I click the spoilers I planned on watching this. :smith:
I was really surprised about this movie. I thought it was fantastic.
Keep thinking of that CSI episode where Nick Stokes is in a similar situation. However, I would like to see this movie.
That episode was delicious. I think it was the episode Quentin Tarantino directed?
The box was wooden. He should have punched it.
Couldn't he have got out of the box like the girl in Kill Bill 2? THAT would have been a good ending!
The box was wooden. He should have punched it.
Because just because the box is wooden negates the umpteen pounds of pressure from the sand. :downs: If anything, he should have pulled that board that broke in and worked from there.
