I have severe acrophobia, I have problems just looking outside when I'm 10 stories up, - hell, I have problems just knowing I'm 10 stories up - there's no way in fuck I would come within ten feet of that thing. It's specially made and treated. They use the same stuff for the glass bottom platform over the Grand Canyon. Probably similar stuff used for glass bottom boats, too.

At least the guys were cool about it afterwards rather than trying to sue for psychological trauma or whatever.

The engineers on both ends of this balcony know what they're doing, it's plenty safe to walk on.

The glass on that ledge is over 3 times thicker than the glass in the Alvin submarine, and that thing has gone to 21,000 feet below the surface of the water. I don't think it'll break. Could you imagine the practical jokes you could pull on people with the protective layer, though? A hidden camera show and sheets of glass that break on command

Couldn't get me near that fuckin thing, broken glass or not. I was in the CN tower once and I decided to slowly shuffle onto one of the exposed floor windows. My face immediately went flush and I felt like passing out.
