Getting strange static calls. - General

Ever since 12 my phone has been ringing non stop. Mostly my gossiping friend who always talks about stars doing weird shit. But i got a weird phone call And when i awnser i hear static and chattering in the background. So i hang up. Then it calls again this time my mom picks up. Static goes off and weird sounds. Now my cell phone gets a call. Guess what? Same fucking number. Now i can hear voices like (Hi..... Its.... chssssshhshshshs) Like that. I only know that its someone who knows me. Its weird cause the only person who knows my number is my folks and friends.

You/they might have bad reception. Or something is interfering with your calls.

Possibly things interfering like a car key. Happened to my door bell.

It may be a fax that is faxing your phone because it got a wrong number

Happened here too. One day I suddenly began to receive calls from numbers such as 001, 002 and so on. No voices, only static... I got pretty paranoid during that whole week to be honest.
