Dionne Malikowski says she should have the same rights as any student to use the bathroom of her choice. Malikowski was born male and now identifies as a female. According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the 16-year-old high school junior says she was suspended about a month ago for violating the policy by using a girls' restroom instead of a staff facility. Poudre School District Board of Education President Nancy Tellez says the staff bathrooms provide an equal opportunity for transgender students to use any of the seven staff bathrooms spread throughout the school.

Hmm, yeah ok. That's equal opportunity
Separate but equal. Sound familiar?

A girl using the Girl's washroom? oh my
'wrong'
Don't take this the wrong way, but I've noticed that staff bathrooms are usually nicer and well kept, unlike student restrooms. But on a more related note my opinion is that if the student is mentally and physically female they shouldn't be persecuted for using the girls restroom, but the precautions taken by the faculty were probably to avoid lawsuits, and for the students own protection.
Or a male that identified themselves as a female, to be fair.. Male washroom for dicks, female washroom for pussys.
I kinda figured bathrooms were segregated like they are for the benefit of the other students. Basically, women don't want men in there with them, and men might not want women in the bathroom with them. It's more a privacy thing than discriminatory thing.

And avoiding lawsuits is actually true, and both reasons have to do with dishing out cash and sinking farther into the debt hole that most school districts of our country are in.
Question if they're concerned because she could be staring at the girls sexually, are lesbians not allowed in female restrooms either?
Usually staff bathrooms have a fat sign on it that says "STAFF ONLY" At my school, students aren't allowed to use them no matter the situation.
Question if they're concerned because she could be staring at the girls sexually, are lesbians not allowed in female restrooms either?
"she" has a penis. There you go, this may concern other girls in the female washrooms. The schools decision is for the comfort of 99% of other students in the school.
A girl using the Girl's washroom? oh my
People still call them washrooms?
"she" has a penis. There you go, this may concern other girls in the female washrooms.
Oh no OH NO PENIS WHAT SHALL WE HELPLESS WOMEN DO IT IS WRAPPING ME IN IT'S COILS OH LORD
I think the main issue here boils down to sex versus gender, and if the bathrooms are divided on the former or latter. If it's the former, then the person can't use it, but if it's the latter they can. I think they tend to divide them by sex to prevent people, assholes, from exploiting the issue surrounding gender identity by lying if they get caught in the female washroom that they're a "butch" transgendered.
Poudre School District Board of Education President Nancy Tellez says the staff bathrooms provide an equal opportunity for transgender students to use any of the seven staff bathrooms spread throughout the school.
Personally I've love to use the staff bathrooms. It's infinitely better than going in and finding one with a broken door lock, one covered in piss, and one that looks like an elephant forgot to flush.
I'm interested to see if her identification as a woman is a recent development or something she's had during prepubescence.
Oh no OH NO PENIS WHAT SHALL WE HELPLESS WOMEN DO IT IS WRAPPING ME IN IT'S COILS OH LORD
This is specifically why schools don't have mixed gender washrooms. :V
there's literally no reason to keep them from using the women's restroom because even if they have a penis so what it's not like that suddenly grants them the ability to rape every woman in there and really it's not like women are walking about naked in the women's restroom plus anything a man is capable of doing in there a woman is equally capable of
"she" has a penis. There you go, this may concern other girls in the female washrooms. As long as "she" isn't whipping it out on people, there doesn't appear to be any actual issue.
plus anything a man is capable of doing in there a woman is equally capable of
Accurately pissing standing up.
I don't see anything wrong with going in the bathroom intended for the opposite sex unless the boy/girl is being a pervert. I think we've all had to use a women's bathroom at one point in our lives, most likely when we were children. I don't see why this poor boy is getting suspended over it, really.
I haven't had to use a women's bathroom, but there was one point 2 years ago when the opposite happened. I was sitting in a stall, and a girl walked in saying "Hey, is anyone in here?" "Umm, I am.." "Oh, it's just you, *Name*." And then I felt kind of awkward as she used the bathroom anyway.
Oh no OH NO PENIS WHAT SHALL WE HELPLESS WOMEN DO IT IS WRAPPING ME IN IT'S COILS OH LORD
Well, you know what happens when you allow men and women together in a pool. Imagine what would happen if we allowed them to be in bathrooms together?
Like having a cock, right?
I'm sorry, I can't tell what this post is supposed to mean
Accurately pissing standing up.
that's not even a talent men need to have anymore, in fact it doesn't even make any sense to pee while standing up
Yes it is, if we cannot piss while standing up-what will is there to live?
Yes it is, if we cannot piss while standing up-what will is there to live?
I dunno about you but buffalo wings are what give me the will to live
