The country's prosecution authority has dropped raped charges against him, but a separate molestation accusation is still under investigation. Assange, who has been criticised for leaking controversial documents on the US-led war in Afghanistan, told Al Jazeera that the accusations are part of a "smear campaign". In an interview with Al Jazeera, Karin Rosander, from Sweden's prosecution authority, affirmed that no errors had been made in launching the charges against Assange.[/release]
Still don't believe he sexually abused someone
Neither do I. If I was a big government trying to hide stuff from the public and some punk released it and people praise him. I'll go off calling him a rapist drug dealer who has child pornography and performs acts of beastality and incest.
What I don't understand is why they released/leaked his name before even notifying him of the charges?
What I don't understand is why they released (leaked?) his name before even notifying him of the charges?
Maybe because he, uh, leaked some documents? :downs: I dunno, really.
I'm pretty sure he did nothing at all of the sorts. Whoever could take shelter in from international prosecution in a country then go on to try to forcefuck said countries women would be basically the biggest douche bag in history.
I agree, I believe he did nothing of the sorts. At most, he was. But I doubt that too.
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
But that won't really matter when he'll go to court.
news guy is wearing a hair piece
it would be ironic if some information leading to his arrest for child molestation was released on wikileaks.
Seems more like some fabricated bullshit to further the smear campaign against him, but I could be wrong.
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
A rubber band can't even stretch that far
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
"I'll leak all of these classified documents, claim it to be for the good of mankind, then go off on a RAPE SPREE!! No one will ever believe those accusing me. It's the perfect crime! Shit, I'll even dye my hair white to look extra creepy! BEST PLAN EVARR!!!"
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
Many people would not believe the government, no. The courts would, however. This raises an interesting point, though. The government is really in a tight spot with Mr. Assange. If he dies, whether it be murder, sickness, a car crash, suicide, or any other myriad of deaths, fingers will immediately be pointed at the U.S. government. [editline]03:24PM[/editline] After all, they have the motive, means, and the spotty record (revealed in part by Wikileaks and Julian) that would make his death seem suspicious, no matter what it was.
Thing is, Assanges death would be ultimately useless anyway. Killing him would make him a martyr and many would rise up to fill his place and support his cause. If anything I'd say its in the best interest of the U.S government to keep him alive, and to react to his leaks in a docile way so as to not further their impact.
That's what I was getting at. If Julian dies, he will become more powerful than they could ever imagine, for lack of better word.
This was character assassination. It achieved its goal whether or not the warrant is actually carried out.
He could fuck them over by simply committing suicide and framing them. No matter how bad of a job he does, people will believe it.
He could fuck them over by simply committing suicide and framing them. No matter how bad of a job he does, people will believe it.
That would make his entire cause a fucking joke.
That would make his entire cause a fucking joke.
I am not saying he would. I am saying he could. [editline]03:40PM[/editline] I am in no way trying to imply that the events I describe will take place.
FILTH AND LIES. I just hope that the people responsible for this heinous smearing end up meeting a fate most dire. It's what they deserve for slandering Mr Assange's truth-seeking name.
If he did do the accused acts, this would be the perfect time; as no one would believe the government that he did sexually assault a woman.
True there is two sides to every story. I don't think we should stamp this off as a defamation case until Assange speaks about it publicly himself. I doubt there is any truth in it but you never know.
