First formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, Iron Maiden has become one of the most influencial bands in the world, but the road was bumpy in the early days, they had no stable line-up until early 1980 when they released their debut album, [i]Iron Maiden[/i]. Iron Maiden reached number 4 in the UK charts with it's raw and almost punk sound and fan favourites like "Phantom Of The Opera" and "Iron Maiden". But their international success came with their masterpiece, [i]The Number Of The Beast[/i].
Since their debut in 1980, Iron Maiden has released 14 studio albums, 7 live albums, 9 complication albums, 4 extended plays, 40 singles, 15 video albums, 1 video game, and a box set.
