Right now I'm working a project of mapping out a set industry. Of which I have about 1,000 contacts. I am try to create a visual representation of each company on a map with a pin or tag of some kind.
I am using Sage ACT! and Excel but I keep running into issues since a lot of free software will have a hard limit of 250 locations at a time. Any suggestions on some software or website that could do this off the address data?
Free or reasonably priced would be preferably, especially if it has a nice display.
What you're describing sounds similar to ArcGIS - though it is expensive. Maybe there's a free alternative to ArcGIS available? Google Map Maker may also do the trick but its very basic - [url]http://www.google.com/mapmaker[/url]
