The 86-year-old said in an interview Thursday that he and the pop star will record “a big swing album.” He says “we have it all worked out already on paper.”
Bennett and Gaga collaborated on “The Lady Is a Tramp” for his Grammy-winning, platinum-selling 2011 “Duets II” album. He called the 26-year-old a “wonderful person and a great talent.”
Here's their previous duet.

I love her, seriously her voice is amazing and she can sing basically any genre flawlessly.
Get that promo Gaga.

This...could actually be interesting and well-done.
As long as it's better than Metallica and Lou Reed together.
Bennett and Lady Gaga.
Might as well start printing the money now.
I'm actually looking forward to this.. O.o
Although this could be interesting, there is no way it will be better than David Byrne & St Vincent's 'Love This Giant'. One of the best collaborations in years!

I don't like Lady Gaga's music at all, but I'm curious to see how this turns out.
Ooooh. Interesting.
Her voice fits that genre quite well, I'm actually surprised.
Most people are surprised to see a pop star who can actually sing.
Gaga has done a few country singles and stuff other than pop, it's just incredibly hard to find.
I haven't bought normal music in a long time (I buy soundtracks and independent music a lot.)
But I might actually get it.
God she is amazing.
I forgot lady gaga existed
I'm a sucker for all three of those genres, I'll have to follow this.
Is Jazz and Swing the only genre that sounds better the older the singer is?

Blues
I love that most people on facepunch don't mind gaga.
I like her persona, and I can't deny that she's ridiculously talented and has a great fucking voice... but the music that's written for her is just so fucking generic...
She writes/composes her own music.
And actually it's only really her singles that are generic and even then they still have meaning in them hidden via metaphors and whatnot.

I'll add LIGHTS and Marina & The Diamonds to that list. Oh also Foxes and Natalia Kills.

LIGHTS and Marina are great.

Lady gaga is really one of the few pop stars I respect, if you look at all the shit she did before she became a pop star... She really went the distance, and broke her ass to get there.
this is gonna be so fucking groovy
such a shame rihanna turned down my offer to do a traditional rennaissance-style concept album about an alternate boer war taking place on the starship enterprise during a nuclear holocaust.
Not a fan of Lady Gaga (I actually kinda want to like her, but something about the production on a lot of her songs just doesn't work for me), but the song in the first video is damn good.
