Department of Public Safety said firing was not a "result of his complaint of the speeding" SUV
I knew it was gonna have something to do with his job inconveniencing someone rich and/or powerful.

Apparently that Governor has some really good foresight if that headline is to be believed.
"Hey guys I have this feeling that in about three months somebody is gonna pull me over, go ahead and fire that fucker."
The system isn't corrupt!

"was fired at the conclusion" as in he got pulled over and guy got fired after it.

Hmm I thought I read that this was three days after he pulled the person over, and it was incidental to a different investigation.

Oh yeah I misread, here's where.

I thought it meant that he was fired two days after he pulled the Governor over. My bad.

Why should I fallow the law when the ONE MAN WHO IS SIGNING THEM IN; doesn't.
Why should I fallow the law when the ONE MAN WHO IS SIGNING THEM IN; doesn't.
Been asking myself this question for years. If they don't respect the laws they sign, why the fuck should I? Everyone needs to be held to the same standard in terms of the law, or the law is absolutely meaningless.
Because if you don't respect the law they put you in a cage.
According to paperwork that state officials gave Hedlund on Wednesday, the 25-year veteran investigator was fired for sending "negative and disrespectful messages" about DCI leaders in emails to his subordinates, for misusing a state-owned car on April 26, and for being "deceptive" about his work status in subsequent conversations with his supervisor
Was not even fired for the governor fiasco
Hedlund, who was paid $96,518 in 2012
Holy shit
The release stressed that "Hedlund did not receive discipline as a result of his complaint of the speeding state vehicle."
Apparently they had a lot of data to look through after he had one car pulled over.
pulled over the governor, they proceed to go through his file for stuff to peg him on
The fact that they keep on stressing that he did not get fired after the governor-incident probably means he got fired because of that.
Well I hope that governor one day die from a car accident due to speeding. These guys thinks they are above the law.
This country is fucked in all types of ways..
