I usually feel really bad for the homless and people who have to live in bad conditions, but this makes me sick. And mad.

There are quite a few people like this, too fat to move so they are bed ridden or live on a chair. Since they cant clean properly they have terrible hygiene. When you sit like that for so long without moving, your skin starts to graft with the fibres in the chair fabric, effectively making the chair a part of them. To remove it would mean to remove all of the skin that is touching the chair.
